The villages were participating in a six -month length competition for the purpose of choosing an ideal solar energy village based on the performance of the solar installation, the statement said.
He said, “The government will provide a grant of Rs 1 crore for solar development in Raja Khade and there is a model of adoption of green energy in rural areas.”
The DC has said that the model solar Village Implementation Agency has been nominated to create a detailed project report (DPR) and to change the entire solar-trained settlement of the village.
He emphasized that the Prime Minister’s Surya Ghar Yojana would be implemented in the district efficiently to boost clean energy and reduce the relying on traditional electricity sources.
Himachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency Project Officer (Himurja) and DLCC member Ramesh Thakur said that the Limited of the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board has handled the implementation of the scheme, while Himuraja has been appointed as a nodal agency to monitor his progress. He further explained that the main components of the scheme include central financial assistance (CFA) for domestic customers, solar power saturation in government buildings, promoting local organizations and ideal energy grams (Model Energy Village).
