This is the action as part of the long -term green energy roadmap of Automeker and as part of a recent connection to 30 MWP solar capacity by two new projects.
This includes 20 mW plants at Khartoda Facility in Haryana and 10 MWP in its Mansar plant. Along with these connections, the company’s overall installed solar capacity has increased from 49 Midgadi to 79 MYP in the last year, the company said in a press release.
Following the announcement, the share of MSIL shares increased early and by 7.5am, Bombay Stock Exchange increased by 5.90 percent to Rs.
“We are systematically increasing the use of renewable energy in our functioning by focusing on the environmental vision of Suzuki Motor Corporation, the Environment Vision of Suzuki Motor Corporation,” said Hisshi Tech, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited. “By the financial year 130-3, Maruti Suzuki plans to go to 319 MPP of solar capacity, which supports investment of Rs 925 crore.”
Techchi said the company’s renewable energy policy supports its production objectives. He said, “We increase the product to four million units, we are committed to match that growth with equally ambitious durable energy methods. This solar energy is an important step towards creating a clean, more durable energy, and contributes positively to the atmosphere,” he added. The objective of MSIL is also to increase its electricity from the green power through the state electricity boards. “With continuous efforts, renewable energy contribution to the total electricity consumption is likely to reach about 85% by the financial year 130-3.” Beyond clean energy investment, MSIL said it was progressing green manufacturing in its facilities.
